I think I’m just way to excited about summer and I feel like it’s summer but it’s really not. But regardless I wanted to sow you all some easy pop instructions that I make myself or have taught myself to do, so they are not difficult. You are not by any way dealing with heat of any kind so put away the fire suit.
So these pops are every healthy in terms of sugar content and in comparison to the bucket of Ben and Jerry’s in your fridge. So trust me when I say you can eat more than one haha but only if you’re feeling a bit tempted. (;
One of the first things you have to do to create your healthy pops is deciding on an ice tray. See look at the ones below. I told you could eat more than one they’re going to be pretty small unless you have something like this…….
So anyways you can decide on a tray and arrangement like the one below, your ice tray will also help you decide how much of the mixture you need.
or or maybe even something like this
It is literally cups with pop sticks, see what did I say about easy peasy?
Moving forward to the mixture!!
You can make anything for the mixture, mix yogurt, make a smoothie (like I taught you in the last post) and poor it into the ice tray but in this post I’ll post a guaranteed good in your tummy type of recipe.
- 1/3 cup diced kiwi
- 1/3 cup diced watermelon
- 1/3 cup diced strawberries
- 1/3 cup diced pineapple
- 1/4 cup fresh pineapple juice or orange juice
Combine diced fruit in a bowl and fill each 5 oz cup with fruit. Add 1 tbsp of juice and insert craft sticks into each cup. They easily stay in place because of all the fruit. Place in the freezer a few hours until firm. To remove the pops from the cups, run under warm water a few seconds.
This will create a fancy fruit pop looking a bit like this.
I hope you enjoy this and I’ll see you in the next post of YAYA. ❤
